No material or information of any nature whatsoever contained in the website or otherwise communicated to the buyer, other than these conditions shall form part of the conditions governing the contract.

Nothing contained in the website constitutes an offer and UK Classic Parts Ltd reserves the right to withdraw or revise the website and any other material at anytime prior to their acceptance of the buyer’s order.

UK Classic Parts Ltd shall not be liable for any advice given by its agents or employees to the purchaser as to the application or use of the goods unless such advice is confirmed in writing by UK Classic Parts Ltd.


THE WEBSITE

W.1 UK Classic Parts Ltd is the owner of the copyright in the website and no part of the website may be reproduced in any material form. This includes without limitation, photocopying or storing it in any medium by electronic means without the written consent and permission of Michael Lenton of UK Classic Parts Ltd.

W.2 All information, details, photographs and illustrations in the website have been carefully prepared to avoid error but the accuracy of such information is not warranted and such information, details, photographs and illustration do not form part of this contract. The seller shall not be liable for any loss or damage resulting from any errors, omissions or typographical errors in the website.

W.3 All pictures are for reference purposes only and unless specifically stated, metal products may be quoted under the general heading of brightwork, with no specific metallurgical origin.

VAT

All Products for sale are advertised with both VAT excluded and VAT included prices. Customers placing orders for delivery destinations within the European Union will pay the VAT included price.

All overseas destinations outside the European will pay the VAT excluded price.

All companies within the European Union who enter a valid VAT registration number into their account on our website and place an order to be delivered to a destination within their country of registration will be charged the VAT excluded price.

GOODS RETURNED

UK Classic Parts Ltd will give a full refund excluding carriage on items returned to us, the suppliers, within seven days of delivery of the goods to the purchaser, subject to the following conditions:
R1. UK Classic Parts Ltd did not order the goods specially on the customer’s behalf.
R2. Goods are not damaged in anyway and returned in the condition and packaging they were sold in.
R3. The goods have not been fitted or changed in any way.
R4. All carriage costs relating to returned products are the purchaser’s responsibility and are to be borne by the customer.

GOODS SENT OVERSEAS

The customer is responsible for any import duty levied on goods imported to the recipient country.
Any goods deemed not to be sent on to the customer by customs authorities in an overseas country, for any reason outside the control of UK Classic Parts Ltd, will deem the customer as responsible for the total cost of the goods including shipping.

LIABILITY

L.1 Subject to the conditions set out below UK Classic Parts Ltd warranty that the goods will correspond within normal limits of industrial quality, or within our specification and at the time of delivery will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of 12 months from the date of delivery of the goods to the purchaser.
L.1.2 Diamond cut edge wheels and chrome goods are subject to the warranty in L1, except for a limited period of six months from the date of delivery of the goods to the purchaser.
L.2 The warranty in L.1 does not extend to items, parts, equipment or materials which are not manufactured by UK Classic Parts Ltd, in respect of which the purchaser shall only be entitled to the benefit of any such warranty or guarantee given by the manufacturer to UK Classic Parts Ltd, and which we will in so far as possible, assign to the purchaser upon the written request of the purchaser.
L.3 UK Classic Parts Ltd shall be under no liability in respect of any defect in the goods arising from neglect, fair wear and tear, misuse or improper alteration or repair of the goods, failure to follow UK Classic Parts Ltd instructions or if the total price for the goods has not been paid by the due date for payment.
L.4 Where any valid claim in respect of any of the goods which is based on a breach of the warranty referred to in the condition L.1 is notified to UK Classic Parts Ltd within the warranty period set out in the condition L.1, UK Classic Parts Ltd shall be entitled to replace or repair the goods, or the part in question, free of charge or, at UK Classic Parts Limited's discretion, refund to the buyer the price of the goods, or a proportionate part of the price.


EXEMPTION

E.1 Except as expressly provided for in this contract and subject to the requirements of the Unfair Contract Term Acts 1977, UK Classic Parts Ltd makes no warranties whatsoever expressed or implied, oral or written to the buyer for:

E.1.2 Consequential or indirect loss or damage, including loss of profit, however arising,
E.1.3 Sums in excess of the price of the goods to which the claim relates,
E.1.4 Any labour charges incurred by the buyer relating to the removal and refitting of the original goods or replacement goods,
E.1.5 Any Competition or modification parts after those parts have been fitted.
E.1.5.2 Competition or modification parts are defined as those parts which change the performance of the standard Rover, Austin, Morris, British Leyland or BMC manufactured production part.
E.2 Competition or modification parts are warranted to be free from manufacturing defects and workmanship at the time of sale and should therefore be carefully inspected before they are fitted.

To qualify for discount the products must be in one transaction and cannot be spread over more than one transaction or backdated to previous transactions.
 
SEVERANCE

S.1 If any provision of these terms and conditions or any part thereof is held by any responsible and competent authority to be invalid or unenforcable in whole or in part the validity of the other provisions of these terms and conditions and the remainder of the provision in question shall not be affected thereby.
The contract will be construed in accordance with and governed by the laws of England and each party agrees to submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of England.

Any reference to O.E (original equipment) numbers, manufacturers names, photographs or any other company literature is purely for reference purposes and does not imply that the component has been produced by the vehicle manufacturer or his supplier.

It is our intention that our policy is one of continual improvement. We reserve the right to make alterations without notice. E&O.E.
